You find yourself face to face with a gate nested between tall fences on either side. You don't quite remember how you got here, but the sweet and gentle scent wafting in the air entices you to come closer.
As you enter through the gate, you are welcomed by a beautiful garden. There are lush green trees and colourful flower beds as far as the eyes can see. The place is vibrant and full of life, but has a serene quality to it. You breathe in the air deeply and feel a weariness you didn't know was there leave your body. You think you will stay here for a little while.
“I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery—air, mountains, trees, people. I thought, 'This is what it is to be happy.'” ― Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar
