Links

Here you will find a collection of links to other sites and online tools and references I visit or use often. Bookmarks are pretty useful but I prefer making my own comprehensive page. Kinda like a lil guide that'll help me access the websites I like and find useful anywhere from any device. It's part of why I'm pretty excited about making a website. My very own lil museum of things.

Personal Web Crafting:

Mainly graphics of all kinds, but many of these websites also contain guides and tutorials and generators whose work is all over this website, so feel free to explore them to your heart's content.

  • sadgrl's layouts / layout maker: A great place to start if you don't know the first thing about making a layout.
  • The Doll Archive: Has a lot of useful stuff you should totally check it out. I used their border images in my garden and gallery pages. Truly a lifesaver.
  • 32bit cafe's resource list: Massive list of all kinds of stuff you could need to build a website.
  • RV's free Javascript/DHTML effects: Very cool and easy to use text and graphic effects if you're looking to spice up your website. (I have their underwater mouse effect in my garden page)
  • W3 Schools: Pretty much the site I always go to when I look up how to do anything HTML/CSS related. Really easy to understand and gives you examples you can play around with.
  • HTTrack Website Copier: A neat & free little program that allows you to make a copy of an internet website and save it on your hard drive.

The Fun Web:

The kind that I used to have the most fun on as a kid. Or at least the closest possible alternative that exists now.

  • The Flasshpoint Archive: A huge archive of instantly playable Flash games and animations. Lets you download and play them off your computer as well.
  • Neal.fun: Come on, it has fun in the url, nothing more needs to be said.
  • Internet Artifacts: The Internet and Its Many Eras.
  • Typelit: Lets you type out a novel of your choosing, comes with a ton of customisation options. I find it really relaxing.
  • Rainwave.cc: Video game music radio station.
  • Sea and Sky: Explore the vast ocean and endless space. Pretty cool and nostalgic design.

Miscellaneous:

Misc URL's go here:

  • Marginalia Search: Alternative search engine that favours smaller websites with value over big commercial ones. Perhaps you'll finally find what you've been looking for?
  • Mobile Phone Museum: Old phones used to rock, and rock hard they did.
  • Lookmovie2: My go to for watching western movies and shows.
  • Cineby: Alternative for lookmovie2. Has some rarer titles.
  • AniWave: The main site I use for watching anime.
